The Platform

Know how your brand is competing. Know where to act.

BAM Analytix brings consumer behaviour, marketing activity and competitive response into a structured measurement system. BRS™ shows your relative brand relevance. The intelligence around it helps your team investigate the drivers and decide what to do next.

Platform evidence — 02-I1Approved current report or portal capture showing the BRS score, four factors and one evidence-led interpretation. Market, competitive set and period shown with the analysis. Awaiting product-lead approval.

One score. Four factors. A clearer competitive picture.

The Brand Relevance Score – BRS™ – is BAM's real-time index of competitive relevance, expressed on a 0-100 scale. It is based on how consumers and the market are responding to a brand relative to a defined group of competitors.

Presence – visibility in the market
How consistently and visibly does the brand appear in the places where consumers encounter the category?
Interest – active attention
Is the brand attracting the search, attention and consideration that can open a growth opportunity?
Connection – meaningful engagement
Are people engaging with the brand in ways that indicate a stronger relationship, rather than simply encountering it?
Sentiment – the quality of response
What is the direction and intensity of consumer response, and which topics or attributes help explain it?

The overall score provides orientation. The factors help explain the position. Both must be read within the same market, competitive set and period.

BRS™ is an index, not a percentage of sales or a calculation of marketing ROI. Changes in the competitive set can change the score.

Deterministic measurement first. AI-assisted interpretation second.

  1. 1

    Bring the evidence together

Combine the agreed consumer, market and competitive inputs. Add marketing investment and commercial information where it is available and relevant to the engagement.

  2. 2

    Make the comparison meaningful

Standardize definitions, align brands and periods, and normalize the measurements to the competitive context. Apply BAM's measurement model to produce BRS™ and its factor scores.

  3. 3

    Investigate the change

Examine the movements and their likely drivers. AI-assisted interpretation supports diagnosis, while the underlying measurements remain the evidence base.

  4. 4

    Decide what to test

Translate the findings into risks to address, momentum to build and opportunities to investigate. Agree actions and commercial measures with the team responsible for execution.

  5. 5

    Review the response

Assess subsequent relevance and business results against the decision and its objectives. Stronger evidence comes from an explicit baseline, suitable comparisons and clear ownership.

A decision-ready view of risk, momentum and opportunity.

Risk

Where could weakening demand, engagement or competitive position threaten growth?

Momentum

Where is the brand gaining strength, and what should be protected or extended?

Opportunity

Where does the evidence point to a decision, test or investment worth investigating?

Action

What should happen next, who should own it and how will progress be assessed?

BAM brings these questions into a common discussion for marketing, finance, leadership and agency teams. It does not replace the judgment of the people accountable for the decision.

See the journey from score to decision.

A useful report does more than show a movement. It identifies what changed, explains the relevant context and connects the finding to a practical next step.

Panel 1

Measure the position. Review the BRS™ score, factor profile and competitive context for a defined period.

Panel 2

Examine the evidence. Look for the factor, audience, channel or consumer-response pattern that helps explain the change.

Panel 3

Agree the next move. Select an action to test and the business outcome that will determine whether it worked.

Start with the decision. Build the right engagement around it.

Questions buyers ask.

No. BAM adds a competitive intelligence and measurement layer. Existing sales, finance, campaign and customer systems remain important sources of evidence and operating control.
No. It combines Presence, Interest, Connection and Sentiment within a defined competitive context. Awareness or visibility alone cannot describe the whole score.
The same validated inputs processed with the same measurement rules and model version produce the same measured result. AI-assisted explanations are a separate layer and should be evaluated against that evidence.
BAM is designed around ongoing market signals. Actual freshness varies by source and delivery arrangement. The relevant date range and reporting cadence should always be visible.
BAM helps connect competitive response and marketing activity to a commercial question. Establishing incremental sales or return requires suitable business data and an evaluation design that can distinguish the effect of the action from other influences.
Yes. Discuss the market coverage, users, training and specialist support required for your client work. BAM supplies the intelligence foundation; the agency retains responsibility for its advice and client relationship.
